Haven't played Diamond and Pearl, as I don't have a DS, yet my Nintendogs/Kirby Dreamland/Animal Crossing obsessed little sister does. In fact, she's lost I think... Three DS's and currently owns one now. Spoiled, much?

Did they bring back the day/night cycle in those two, which had the same thing which had pokemon appearing during different times of the day?
Um if I remember, day/night is back in D/P

I love the games... anime and movies suck horribly. Another game where I think the gameplay owns the storyline, and the gameplay is the reason I still play it.

I like the original three, but later as it went it got way too complicated like....

What berries would you like to feed your pokemon?
What body armor will your pokemon wear?
What items will you use in the fight?
The level 2 wild Caterpie survived the lvl 100 Charizard's fire blast by using endure.

the orginial 150 and the next 100 or so were awesome. after that, it got old, and the shows got too dramatic. i mean, the first "campaign's" shows were the best no doubt. the games were also fun i still have mine for gameboy color. nowadays theres just too much

Yeah, I scammed a little kid for one. Some might say nice going, some might say I'm an asshole.

The new series had just been released, I had a Sparrow, worth about $0,25. But because it was new, some kid desperately wanted to have it, and offered a Charizard and a Mewtwo for it.

I couldn't resist saying yes. Added it to my 2 other Charizards, there you go; cash.

Yeah it was quite a mean thing to do, but if it wasn't for his lack of knowledge of cards, he wouldn't have done it anyway.

I watched the show HARDCORE for the first season or so (until Ash goes to Johto), and collected the cards for longer. Being 10 years old was ftw!

I've still got a binder full of those damn cards in my closet. And most of the games are sitting in a box somewhere. God, I loved Pokemon. I remember getting pissed because my pack of cards sucked and my brother got a Zapdos. Those were the days...

And isn't Ash supposed to be around 20 or so by now? Is he still collecting Pokemon?

What does shining mean? Is it just different color and rare like in the games?
